PRIME HIGH SCHOOL
Prime High School focuses on preparing students for the rigorous courses in high school and helping students maintain their good grades throughout the academic year. Classes ranging from Writing Clinic to AP Biology are offered. For a more intensive and personal learning experience, one-on-one tutoring is also offered.

Reading & Vocabulary Workshop
Tue 5-6:30 pm
Prime Academy’s Reading & Vocabulary Workshop is for students who want to improve for reading comprehension and acquire vocabulary. This class is for 9th, 10th, or 11th graders that want to learn vocabulary and build up reading power.
Prime Academy’s Grammar & Writing Class is for students who wish to excel in their personal writing skills with a strong grammatical foundation and write their best in the school classroom. Students are given the tools and guidance that is necessary to be able to write skillfully and proficiently.
Prime Academy Math Clinic helps all levels of students who need to improve math skill. This class will help students develop skills in order to be able to solve math problems quickly and more efficiently.
AMC 10/12 Test Prep
This AMC 10/12 test prep class is aiming to top qualify you for the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME)
This year-round class allows students to stay ahead of their AP Biology class. The AP Biology course is designed to be the equivalent of a college introductory biology course usually taken by biology majors during their first year of college. This year-round class is taught by Mr. David Knight, the University High School AP Biology teacher, is renowned for the highest AP pass rate in Irvine. In 2011, Mr. Knight was awarded Teacher of the Year. From Analyzing Data to Mathematics in AP Biology, Life of Chemistry to Population Genetics, Mr. David Knight not only covers important topics, but also trains your child for multiple choice and FRQ questions on the AP exam. This year-round course will ensure that your child has the tools and skills to begin and maintain an A+ throughout the academic school year and attain a high score on the AP exam.
